Introduction to
Winemaking / Wine Appreciation Classes

The Guild runs winemaking classes,
 prior to grape harvesting season.
Classes consist of three hour sessions over two Saturday mornings
at B'Darra Estate - 1415 Stumpy Gully Road, Moorooduc.  (Melway 147 - E6)

The course is provided on a not-for-profit basis and includes a basic winemaking kit.
The kit includes equipment, ingredients and a winemaking book.
An initial free membership of the guild, up to the AGM, is also included in the cost of the course.

Chris Myers, life member, demonstrates transfer of must
(orange wine) to demijohn for secondary fermentation

Classes will be run on two Saturday mornings
in October 2019
commencing at 9am each day.

Students/Instructors Class of '17
We believe that a 'hands-on' approach is beneficial in learning how to make wine.
At the end of the course, participants will have made their first five litres of fruit wine,
ready for 'racking', finishing and maturing (and eventually bottling/drinking).

You may register for our 2019 winemaking classes by contacting
the President (Peter Enness) or Secretary (Glen Fortune)
(See the about-Contact page for contact details)
